Dear beautiful subscribers, we’ve missed you.
Here at Shuffle we’re constantly thinking about how to make social audio the best it can be. That means spending plenty of time working on the app, but it also means paying attention to what else is happening around the internet. With all the news in the audio world - like Spotify HiFi and the ascendence of Clubhouse - things can feel overwhelming. We’re here to remind you that there’s nothing quite as comforting (or good for you!) as plugging in your favorite podcast and taking yourself for a little walk.
In the meantime, let us fill you in on what’s happening at Shuffle:
What We’ve Built:
Since the introduction of our vertical player, we’ve been busy bees making sure the rest of the app looks as snazzy. That means we’ve improved our subtitles, the show pages, the buttons, and made sure the feed is smoother than ever.
The profile tab is now the library tab. The most important thing for a podcast app is to make listening to podcasts as easy as possible, so now simply tapping on the library tab will you take you directly to your episodes.
Video! We’ve enabled videos as another type of media to attach to your clips, continue to make them look better and better.

What We’re Building:
We also wanted to take a moment and share a little bit more than usual this month. So, without going into too much detail, here are some things we’re working on that we think you’ll be excited for:
In the short term, get excited for better listening and community tools like queuing.
In the long term, we’re still thinking about the best ways to encourage and foster community on the app, and our beautiful new player seems like exactly the right place to do so. Be on the lookout, we build quickly ;)
